Very large heavy duty mainframe computer line printer

Line printers like this were used to bulk print huge volumes of listings like bank statements etc. They're called line printers because they typed an enrire line of print at a time so were very fast. The cupboards at the front & back contain the feed box of paper at the front & the printed output paper at the rear. By default, printers like this would have been very noisy but this one has copious amounts of sound deadening foam inside all the panels.
