These are the cameras frequently seen in interior locations until the more modern dome style cameras started to displace them. Typically the front lens can be easily exchanged on these to alter the camera's ability to either see into the distance (telephoto lens) or else cover a wide area nearby (wide angle lens). Wide angle lenses are invariably physically shorter than telephoto lenses so it can be important to have the appropriate length lens fitted for the camera assembly to look appropriate for your scene.
Camera wall or ceiling mounting brackets can generally be fitted to any of the cameras in this section. Or the smaller ones can easily be mounted on table or floor standing tripods.
