It's important to realise that this equipment shouldn't all just be passively placed on shelves or tables on your set. In the real world, technicians would be interacting with the different instruments by typically connecting them into various points of a circuit, observing an oscilloscope waveform or a voltmeter needle whilst twiddling an adjustment somewhere in the circuit and then connecting to another point etc. This can make for far more interesting background detail for a lab or workshop scene. We can even visit, set up & connect together equipment & train actors to use it on your set to really bring the scene to life.
