Practical laboratory/disco xenon stroboscope

This is used for producing short but intense pulses of light over a widely adjustable pulse rate. Illuminating rotating objects with this such as a motor shaft can make the object appear to be stationary when the pulse & rotation rate are set to be exactly the same. Be careful of using this as certain pulse rates can trigger epileptic seizures for susceptible people.
