National Commando ruggedised portable TV

There were a number of consumer electronics items from the 1970s built with a ruggedised military style such as the Sony ICF-111 radio. This is very much a TV version of that. Features a thick fluted carrying handle, big chunky tuning knob & a telescopic aerial.  This was both battery & mains powered so could have been used as a second TV in the kitchen or for a picnic in the wild. Great piece of 1970s dressing. This is no longer practical.
