Part practical Pye V2000 VCR video cassette Recorder with red digital displays

This Video Cassette Recorder uses tapes of the V2000 standard which, like the Betamax standard, couldn't compete with the technically inferior VHS standard but which had become too widespread for people to consider changing their machines & also their whole tape library. Because we don't have any V2000 tapes, we can't test if it will accept & load a tape. It does however show bold red LED digital number displays which make it good for background dressing
