Practical counter top shop barcode laser scanner

This is the type of scanner typically used on the counter of small cramped shops where there is little space for a full sized glass top scanner. The green LED winks & it beeps when barcodes are passed in front of it. You can see the red laser twinkling when you look into the mirrored bowl part of the unit but it's not sufficiently bright to project the scanning pattern onto objects in front of it.
