Practical large chunky 1970s walkie-talkie with curly mic, long aerial, digital display

This portable transceiver is fairly huge by today's standards. It would originally have been used on the 27MHz Citizen's Band (CB). The red LED digital channel display adds plenty of visual interest and can be changed by twiddling the channel knob. The telescopic aerial is shown nearly fully retracted so that it fits into the photos but extends to a whopping 138cms. The curly cabled microphone is optional & can be unplugged so that transmissions can be made by squeezing the PTT switch on the side of the radio.
