The original trimphone from the 1960s was a design classic & more modern looking and stylish than any phone seen before in the UK. However using a mechanical dial these days would seem desperately slow compared to push button dialling that everyone is used to these days. This reproduction uses buttons instead of the original finger holes in the dial. From a distance, however this would pass as a normal trimphone, except the General Post Office never made a turquoise version.
