Particularly colourful assortment of resistors layed out in a regular matrix on this 1950s-1960s era PCB. Electronic components are continually evolving. Resistors have become much smaller and shinier in the years since but still use the very same colour scheme for denoting each resistor's value. They are not painted this way just to look pretty.
