Period electrical knife switch - Frankenstein lab etc

Knife switches such as this were the norm for early electrical experimentors. They provided no protection from touching any high voltages connected to them as all the metal parts are totally exposed. This may be part of their present appeal in our modern safety concious world. Electricity back then was not for amateurs to play with.

Unusual feature of this switch is the on/off indicator attached to the swinging actuator. Base size is 5" x 4"
