It accepts linear carousels of up to 50 x 35mm photographic slides. You can advance to the next slide by either pressing the beige button on the projector itself or by using the wired remote control. You can also adjust the focussing via the remote. This could have been used for business presentations, lectures, talks etc before the days of powerpoint. It would also be suitable for showing holiday photos in a home setting.
