Originally this would have been used for testing military communications equipment but by taping over the word OSCILLATOR TEST, you can easily pretend it's a military radio as it looks portable & built to survive explosions on the battle field. When plugged into the mains using its supplied cable, the slow motion drive tuning scale lights up in quite a pleasing manner. It comes with a clip on removable lid containing the special mains lead & other cables. There is an attached canvas carrying strap. We can supply period headphones or microphone if required.
