Really big bold 12" screen on this oscilloscope whereas the normal size is about 4". This was possibly produced as a teaching aid for a large class. The tube of this has what is known as a long persistance phosphor so that moving waveforms leave a green ghostly trail behind that decays over a few seconds which is quite cool to look at. As with all of our oscilloscopes, the waveform on the screen is entirely dependent on what external signal source is connected. The photos show random brain wave type. Static geometric waves or horizontally travelling waves are also possible with a different "wobble box"- the speed of which is easy to adjust.
