Very cool looking radial copper wire coil assembly

Actually the stator from a pancake shaped electric motor. The enamelled copper wire wound coils create a rotating magnetic field which drags around a frying pan shaped, axle mounted armature (the rotating part of a motor) that would have closely fitted over this coil assembly in its previous life. Excellent spacey/science laboratory look to this piece.
