This very 1970s tape recorder on a pedestal would have been used in radio studios to edit interviews etc. Editing was performed by slicing the tape with a razor blade while holding the tape in the cutting block visible in front of the recording heads and then gluing bits of tape together - yes that's really how sound clips were edited together back then!
As this is large, heavy and on wheels, it will always require a hard sided lorry equipped with a tail lift, protective blankets & securing straps. Because of unacceptable levels of damage, unsuitable lorries will be turned away wasting your time & money.
