It's the fastest way of transcribing uninterrupted speech. Stenotype is one of the best known makers of stenograph machines. Stenographs work in a similar way to Pitman shorthand in that the sounds of the words are typed rather than individual letters. It must be a very skillful job as multiple keys need to be pressed simultaneously & the keys are always unmarked. Supplied in original carry case.
