Practical 1960s miniature reel to reel tape recorder

Japanese made tape recorder in brown & cream plastic case with tiny 3" spools which is the smallest 1/4" tape spool available. This recorder is only slightly larger than cassette recorders which would have rapidly made this obsolete technology. With its easily visible rotating spools, this is much more visual than the barely visible innards of a tape cassette.
