Vintage brown Bakelite PYE 232 radio/wireless set requiring external speaker & power source

This contains a two valve receiver plus the tuning electronics. It would have required an external power source such as a bank of many batteries, external speaker & external aerial & earth connection. Wireless wasn't very easy back then. Most houses didn't even have electricity.
