Commodore PET personal computer from 1979

The Commodore Pet computer was about the first self contained personal computer in the heady days of microprocessor chips having recently been invented. Prior to this you would have been grappling with a separate keyboard, monitor & processor box which was perceived as being much less user friendly. Very distinctive shape with the trapezoid shaped screen perched on a short stalk above the main unit. This was the second version superceding the early "chiclet" keyboard one which was wretched to type on & the keyboard legends would gradually wear away.
