This would be almost obligatory dressing for a 1960s teenager's bedroom together with Beatles, Rolling Stones, Freddy & the Dreamers etc records. Like the more upmarket Dansette you could load up to 6 LPs onto the spindle & the record player would play each one in turn. Once the tone arm reached the inner playout groove it would return to the parked position, drop the next lowest record in the stack onto the turntable, move the tone arm back to the start groove & commence playing it. All done with some clever & intricate mechanical cams etc as shown by James May recently on his TV series - The Reassembler.
That said, the turntable on this rotates but the autochange mechansim no longer works. It's fine for spinning single records though. No sound either which shouldn't be a problem for film use.
