Reproduction of 1950s wheeled tortoise robot

This is a reproduction of simple wheeled tortoise robots designed in the 1950s by William Grey Walter - a neurophysiologist - & which were exhibited at The Festival of Britain. It could track a light source using an onboard photo cell, detect collisions & steer itself. Quite advanced for the day. This reproduction was made for the Millenium Exhibition.
